Square Enix’s excellent MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, is already in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most original pieces of music in a video game, but in the coming years, the game will achieve another seemingly unprecedented record as it makes its way onto the PlayStation 5.

At a FFXIV Fan Gathering in London held Wednesday, Square Enix game director Naoki Yoshida — credited with rescuing FFXIV’s disastrous initial launch by overseeing development on A Realm Reborn — confirmed to the crowd that the FFXIV developers were fast at work on a version of the game for the upcoming PlayStation 5.
